As many people in Clitheroe are aware Mark French, last year’s town council mayor, nominated Foodbank as one of his charities. On Saturday 24th June volunteers from Ribble Valley Foodbank attended a presentation at the Town Council rooms to receive a cheque of funds raised over the year. We were delighted to receive a cheque for £1000 which will be put to good use to support our work in the local community.
