In response to the Covid-19 crisis we have made some changes to our normal operations:
During the current emergency, we are extremely busy and finding it difficult to respond quickly to telephone calls. It would really help us if you use the website for information, and only call us if absolutely necessary.
Update: From Monday 30 March both Foodbanks in Clitheroe and Longridge will be closed, but we will be making deliveries instead to clients who have a voucher number.
From 30th March, we will deliver on a Monday and Thursday afternoon, for requests received (with a voucher number) by 12 noon on those days.
If you need food, you can get a referral over the phone from many of our usual referral agencies – please contact us if you need information.
If you would like to volunteer, please email us on [email protected], and there is an application form on the Give Help section of the website. If you would like to donate food, you can do so at Tesco, Sainsburys or Booths, at some churches (if still open), or at the Foodbanks during our opening times.
The warehouse will be open to receive deliveries on:
Monday 10am – 12 noon
Tuesday 10am – 12 noon
Thursday 10am – 12 noon
Friday 9am- 11am
There is a list of items of which we are short on the website under Give Help – Donate Food.
If you would like to donate money, there is a Donate button on the website, a standing order form (which gives our bank details for BACS) under the Give Help section, or cheques can be made payable to Ribble Valley Foodbank and directed to us at the URC in Clitheroe.
