More Than Food

We offer help beyond a food parcel. Find out more about additional services and support.

Local christians can offer help in many ways:

If you are out of work, the Salvation Army runs a job club at Lowergate, Clitheroe on Wednesday 10-12. There are computers available for job searches, and help with CVs.

If you have little or no internet access, a computer is also available for use at St Paul’s Church, Longridge, during Foodbank sessions (11 to 1.30) for job searches and writing CVs.

CAP offers a free debt advice service, see link opposite.

Gateway Trust Counselling offers a safe place in which people can seek personal change and the growth of inner peace, in order to move forward.

Regular classes are being run in Clitheroe and Longridge to provide help with cooking on a budget. See link opposite.
